A challenging year that produced intense and aromatic wines. Silky and elegant, this 2006 reveals flavours of black plum, forest fruits and notes of chocolate. Warre's main vineyard since its acquisition in 1980, Cavadinha extends over high elevations in the Pinhão valley.

Founded in 1670, Warre’s is the first and the oldest British port company established in Portugal and is synonymous with the history of port. Andrew James (‘AJ’) Symington arrived in Porto in 1882 aged just 19. At the beginning of the 19th century, AJ formed a partnership with the Warre family (also owners of Dow’s Port) which lasted until 1961 when our family became the sole owners of both port houses.
