Quinta do Vesúvio 2020 - Red

The 2020 harvest was scarce, with production drops of around 40% in some properties — a reduction mitigated by the good quality presented. A top wine from the iconic Quinta do Vesúvio in the Douro Superior. Aged for 14 months in oak barrels. Great purity of the fruit with peppery tannins. 

Quinta do Vesúvio is widely regarded as one of the most iconic properties in the Douro, with a magnificent estate house and chapel overlooking the river. The estate dates to 1823 when the first vines were planted and construction began on the winery, which is still in use today for producing the property’s Vintage Ports in granite foot-treading tanks.
